so for awhile, i've been really looking at my intake of diet soda(aka diet pepsi) and decided that enough is enough. people were starting to notice that I had a really bad habit and even i was seeing that a couple of hours without it, i was dying for it/needed the caffeine/started having withdrawals. i think the big motivator for me was that my brother, who I thought would never get off the juice- did it and I figured, you know what- if he did it- so can i... so i'm now on day 3... its rough. these last 3 days have been filled with headaches, tiredness, and some irritability but all in all, its not sooo rough as I thought it would be. I can't imagine what people with REAL issues have to go through to get 'sober' but this no caffeine thing is something else. I don't know how long it'll last but hopefully, one day at a time... we'll see...
school is going well- love all my classes so far. no real complaints. masters has now begun- i have really set myself up for a doozy this quarter with taking two classes instead of one- but hey, i figure, get it done and you'll be happier in the end, right? not excited- just looking forward to getting through to thanksgiving...blehh...
labor day is fast approaching too... so excited to get 3 full days off. i'm prepping so that I dont have to look at work AT ALL until I get back. I'm almost there...so excited and its only tuesday. i have one class already there... another class i just have to get the notes done- so i'm excited. such a welcome relief to all the work that i've been doing lately trying to be a better teacher- i've realized its overrated to a point- haha...
ok me out- i'll try to blog soon... :)

Have you tried Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi? Maybe getting the taste without the caffeine will make the transition a little easier.
